So the shows have begun,they started well but then the rain began .Devon show was as lovely as ever its a great show to visit and was busy but sadly due to the rain affecting the parking facilities it was cancelled on the final day. I was very disappointed as everyone was as so much effort is involved in these events but hey ho will look forward to next year.
Then on to Surrey ( I was falsely informed it was en route home hmm silly me) traveled over smiling as I passed Stonehenge gleaming in the sunshine. Set up in the Sunshine and then on the morning of the show the rain started and never stopped all day but credit to the people of Surrey, they came out and supported the show and so I was happy with how it went and would do again. My van might disagree as after ungracefully being tractored off a field in Devon and very nearly again in Surrey its hoping for hard standing or dry weather for the next show. I had lots of lovely summery silks stocks,daisies ,scabious etc.
It’s Malvern next week for the Royal three counties so if you’re in the area come and have a look as ever you will find me in the cottage industries marquee.
